School Development is an integral part of a school’s improvement journey. Here at South Petherton C of E Infants and Pre-School we work closely with our Governing Board to provide strategic direction for the school.
Each year we write a School Development Plan (SDP) so that, as a school, we have a clear strategic plan of how to further improve. We use information gathered from monitoring, assessment as well as internal and external reviews to help us to identify our priorities as well as considering staff and pupil well-being as high priorities.
Our Christian Ethos, Vision and Values underpin all that we do strategically and our vision ‘Embracing the Fullness of Life’ John 10:10 is always the starting point for school improvement. The SDP is a working document that we review and update regularly and it is also shared with all stakeholders.
